Protech finishes full factory solution

Protech Food Systems have provided a conveyor system capable of handling plastic trays having dimensions of 400 x 600 x 200mm. These trays have a variety of different products that are transported via the conveyor system throughout various parts of the factory, saving massively on time and productivity

Trays are sent to two free standing OCM/destination control station for final destination sort and weight gather/record.

Operators at these stations will manually place RFID tags (colour coded) directly into each tray thus automatically feeding packing equipment further down the line.

Protech also added a buffer carousel system to allow product over-spill and re-cycle if the ongoing lines are full.

The trays are then transported to and from the Tray washer and brought back to a specific location for the process to start again.
