The Innovation

The recent introduction of a New Generation of Carbon Twin Medium Wave Emitters, has given food producers the unique opportunity to design and develop new product ranges which require colour change to the surfaces.

The Equipment

Probrown Industrial Grilling and BrowningMachines are designed and built to suit the customer's exact requirement.
Each application is carefully evaluated in product trials, which allow the equipment to be closely tailored as well as power densities to be matched to throughput/production line speeds.
It is possible to achieve much higher energy densities with the carbon emitter and hence browning times are normally much shorter than conventional gas and electric systems.
Production floor space is kept to an absolute minimum due to the shorter browning times.
The equipment is also virtually maintenance free, unlike gas radiant systems, which require work to be carried out on pipe work and radiant panels.

The Result

Browning levels are accurately maintained within the equipment due to the development of a balanced exhaust system. Evenness of browning across the width of the equipment is achieved with the use of control thyristors.
