The Protech Team raising money for Children's Hospice

A Protech team of 4 will be taking part in this years Samworth Challenge event. To raise money for the Keech Cottage Children's Hospice, supporting families from across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes who are caring for a child or young person diagnosed with a life-limiting condition.

The challenge consists of 3 stages:

Mountain Section
The 13km mountain section of the challenge, starts and finishes from the Challenge Base in Glenridding consisting of a height gain of 958m. Every team will, on foot navigate around a pre-designed course and where required check in at a number of different manned check-points. 

Bike Section
Starting and finishing from the challenge base, over 32km this section combines off-road tracks, country lanes and on occasion the main road which follows the edge of Ullswater itself reaching a height gain of 632m.
 
Canoe Section
This final section will take place on Ullswater starting and finishing at Glenridding. All teams will be required to paddle 2 open canoes over a distance of 10km.
